The 2nd of June is the Official Birthday of Queen Elizabeth II, celebrated with the ceremony of Trooping the Colours. This year it is the anniversary of Queen Elizabeth II Coronation…. it is also the Platinum Jubilee of her reign.
Today is also the start of 4 days of Jubilee Celebrations and commences with an extra Bank Holiday.
We understand that Balmoral is the Queens favourite ‘Holiday Home’ ……. I guess this year she will welcome her annual break on Royal Deeside, as a chance to relax and reflect on these Jubilee Celebrations.
Celebrating or watching from afar…… as always…

I’ve always remembered June 2 is a special day for your Queen even though I’m an American. Why? Because it’s also my birthday! 🙂
