First day of Summer….. Starts Well

Dawn on the 1st of June and a family of Canadian Geese are basking in the early morning sun……  its been a chilly night, so I guess it is good for the youngster’s to feel some warmth.

Officially it is also the first day of summer.  Down on lakeside, it is a rather encouraging start to the day..

The early hour ensured that it was very peaceful around the lake, the sun rising slowly..

Not a bad start…..  the day though didn’t follow through.  At times sunny the next threatening clouds and rain arrives, passes then sun once again.

A mixed start to summer, none of us can predict just what is in store for ay of us….. but as always…..
