The colours of Summer…..

Lavender steps in an English Garden

We have passed the mid-point of August.  Most of the summer flowers are at their most colorful best…. it has to be said, the heatwave and drought we experienced for much of this summer, has taken its toll on some parts of our gardens. It is though the perfect conditions for Lavender…. enjoying our brief flirtation with Mediterranean style conditions.

I hope you are enjoying the summer – at work, on vacation or at home…

but as always….

Please Remember ….

    1. Peter, I haven’t a clue…. we know it as the Seaside Daisy, but botanical name ?? The picture isn’t our garden, but we do have a sprawling plant in the pathway and base of our conservatory. That is self-seeded but looks just like the pic. Survives our wet winters and just spreads further each year. It doesn’t like help to set new roots simply goes its own way 🙂
