Flippant Friday…. Mad Dogs and all that!

There is an old Noel Coward song that has the words “Mad Dogs and Englishmen go out in the midday sun”……   and on this particular day in Almeria, with the thermometers on various city buildings reading 39,4c it was both sunny and hot.   Not surprising that at midday we were the only folk taking in the sights.  Of course there were others about but they were obviously tourists like ourselves..Our excuse was that we were only in Almeria for the day…. a long day but we were not going to miss a moment.  Though walking along this deserted plaza we did feel just a trifle daft…..  and yes, the rhyme in the song would seem to ring true.

Wherever you are this Friday, start to relax the weekend is ahead… and as always….
