    1. It does have that magical feel… whatever the weather. I first went in 1964. Loved it straight away, not just the Priory but the Island. But what stands out in my memory bank is the Hotel I stayed at for 3 nights. It was right by the Priory, had no running water in the Bedrooms and only one Bathroom….. so a Victorian style Pitcher of hot water was brought to the room each morning. …. it was behind the times but somehow seem right 🙂
