Last Image for January 2024

Not what I would describe as my best picture for January, but it sums up one of the rare and very much better days of the month weather wise.  Very welcome after so many dark days.

Cold, but sunny,  just enough warmth to start to melt the ice on the Lake, and a sky that has to make its mind up.

After all the wet grey days, storms and floods, we move into February with some hope for some more cheerful weather as we head towards the Spring.

The location is Kedleston Park, Derbyshire.  The building is the old Boat House and Fishing Lodge.

The weather we can do little about…… but we can all….
