Rare in the UK. Though i have been lucky in seeing them in Scotland (where this pic was taken) and occasionally in Cumbria. But always a thrill

I’ve never seen a red squirrel so I think he’s mighty fine. There’s an area in North Carolina where white squirrels are abundant. I’ve been to North Carolina but didn’t see any.

Well they are rare and classed as endangered here… but once they were countrywide.
