    1. We were on a Fred Olson Cruise on this occasion… it was special as Olsen arranged for all their 4 boats be in Bergen at the same time…. Bergen arranges several celebration events and the Fire Department gave us all a great send off as we left. I will never forget that trip 🙂

    1. WE have visited several times since 1982. It has always been dry and more often than not very sunny.. I mention this as Bergen has the reputation for being wet! On one visit a few years ago, we shared a table (in the sunshine on the quayside) with a mother and teenage daughter. During the conversation she expressed just how lucky we were to be in Bergen when the sun shone….. in fact her daughter should have been at school but the day was far too good to be inside. :.. So I guess we have been very lucky :-).
