We all have something special that we value… and maybe value despite it having little monetary value… and this is one of mine.
It was passed on by my mother, who had inherited from her mother, so I guess at least 125 years old.
It is only small, 45cm (or 2inches). Sadly it is not made from Silver. This little Elephant did have two tusks, but these vanished, I suspect lost/ broken , as it was a constant attraction to children and grandchildren over all those years.
Small it maybe, and a none precious metal….but still a priceless treasure
As always….

It is indeed… and has been a source of great play interest for scores of children over the years… hence the loss of tusks.

Those items given to us by our now gone families are the best treasures if you ask me.
