Back to School…..

5th August and schools in England only think about heading back after the summer holidays into September.  Yet for weeks before the Schools broke up for the vacation, media was awash with “Back to School” adverts… increasing in pace over this last week. 

So to get pupils and teachers into the Back to School mood, I thought I would assure them that their classrooms have been cleaned, decorated and ready and waiting for them.

Now don’t forget to stand in line, don’t run and don’t shout… just make your way to your classroom…. and sit quietly  🙂

  3. Can you even imagine what today’s students would think of a classroom like your photo? They certainly would not know how to endure it. Back to school ads seem to have been spread everywhere all summer, but for our local students (including our oldest grandchild), school begins this month in just three short weeks.

  4. Oh how different schools are now from when I started – in 1952! I was only there a few weeks. I caught a streptococcal infection, which turned to rheumatic fever and put paid to my early years education! Thankfully medication has improved a bit since then!
