The inner Courtyard of Little Moreton Hall. Built, by the powerful and wealthy Moreton Family, construction stated in 1504 and after the additions to the original plans, took 100 years to complete.
It might indeed seem as if it was built for a film set, but no, a family home for several generations followed by as succession of tenants.
Today this Elizabethan style Manor House is firmly on the Cheshire Tourist trail…well worth a visit.
