I was reminded that Conwy Bridge, in North Wales is 200 years of age this year. A dramatic crossing over the River Conwy to the the Castle.
It was built by the famous pioneering Scottish Engineer Thomas Telford (1757-1834). Not his biggest bridge, it is just one of 1000 Suspension Bridges he was responsible for. Telford was also known for his major road and canal construction projects across the UK. All establishing major transport links across the country.

Great achievements, that still form the bases of our transport links today.
Have a good and enjoyable day… and also….
