North Yorkshire Cliffs near Flamborough
The air, cliffs and sea are alive with seabirds of many types…Fulmar, Gannets, Terns, Guillemots, Puffins. As the breeding season is come to a close, the feeding frensy takes on a new intensity.
Many will be getting ready to fly thousands of miles south to warmer climes, even as far as the southern tips of Africa., monumental, journeys. Other like the Puffin will be heading out to spend the winter on the on the oceans…. then next year, with luck they or their offspring will return to breed in the relative safety of these Yorkshire Cliffs.
Wherever you are, enjoy late summer and early autumn…and also….
