Petals are getting furrier, flower heads popped, decay starting to take its toll. It has been a good year for our Aechmea (Urn Plant)…. in fact we have had two flower spikes. It is not my favourite plant, its been in our conservatory for years, cannot recall just how many, but it has staked its claim to one corner, now its become like a piece of furniture.
Perhaps I tolerate it as its been easy on the maintenance… just remember, that every so often, to pour some water down into the urns, not the pot. 🙂
