
Morning Sunshine, Allestree Lake, Derbyshire.
It is being Kind…..that was the comment used by someone who I meet regularly on the morning walkies with Buster. She was referring to the slow transition of the weather between summer and autumn. Kind is a good description as so far we have had no extremes and it has been a very gentle slide into the colours of autumn….

Whilst the overall colour scheme is green, particularly in the woodlands were many leaves are still sporting a spring green, you cannot deny that this slow slide into autumn yellow, golds, reds and browns has begun.

None of us are sure just how long this slow goodbye to summer will last….and whilst we can enjoy the moment….we hope that we will not miss a perfect autumn.
