It was indeed a moody Monday morning when we arrived at Henningsvaer. The harbour nestling below, and in the shadows of the circling mountains, gained added drama as the early sun did its best to break through the cloud layer. The rugged Norwegian Lofoten Island coast, whilst providing the scenic backdrops, also offer protection for the many harbours. Each harbour emphasising the Norwegian mix of Fishing, Island Travel and Leisure.
