Meteorologically Autumn began on September the 1st.
But in the real World today is the Autumnal Equinox. Officially the equinox occurs at 1.43pm here in the UK…. but when we go to bed this evening we can say goodbye summer… then wake tomorrow to the first full day of Autumn .
