The Artic winds have dropped, though it is still cold, so the blossom on the cherry and apples trees can heave a sigh of relief as they can live that bit longer.

It is that time of spring when we hover between the early bulbs and blooms and those plants and flowers of late spring that lead us on into summer. Just a slight pause in colour….but still rather nice, a fresh spring feel with lots of new growth that is all rather encouraging..

The next few weeks will see another explosion of  bright colours and rich growth with much more pollen and nectar for the hungry insects.
