Dawn comes to Derwent Water and slowly the early morning mist rises revealing Skiddaw. The image was taken from the Surprise View overlook near to Ashness Bridge, one of the best spots for an expansive view of one of Cumbria’s most beautiful lakes. And being so early on this particular spring morning , we had the pleasure of the location to ourselves.
