A Wet Note……

June ended on a rather damp note and July has started in the same frame of mind.  But we did get a small window of dry weather.  Not to miss the opportunity for a ‘dry’ walk, the Lakeside was the destination point.  Might be grey and damp but the sun did try ….. just a little sparkle here and there!

Nice to see that the Willowherb is now beginning to flower, so if we do get some real sunshine, they will add colour to the shady areas and hedgerows for a few weeks.

But someone’s mummy is going to be rather annoyed when they get home….some toddler has left their jelly sandals, all alone,  on the edge of the boardwalk.

But the break in the weather was short-lived and normal wet service was resumed.
