Debbie Smyth posted this morning, a rather good piece of Wall Art featuring a roosting Blue Tit. Which got me thinking, that here in Derby, our go to bird for Wall Artists is the Peregrine Falcon…. big birds in real life but even bigger on wall creations.
Love or hate Wall Art, they do at least brighten an otherwise rather dominating plain brick walls, this one is adjacent to the Museum of Making in the Historic Silk Mill. As to relevance, well Peregrines nest on Derby Cathedral which overlooks this square.

That’s a great piece of bird art, David. A mighty peregrine that seems to be peeping round the corner to look at the tower 🙂
We are now lucky enough to have peregrines nesting on top of St Albans CathedralWe’ve had babies the last two years.
