A change in the weather and not for the best!…..in fact today just hasn’t woken up. It is as dull and grey at 2pm as it was early this morning in the woods.
The Met Office this morning was full of joy predicting we were having an unseasonable warm period that could last for 2 or 3 months and that an ‘Indian Summer’ was very likely. Judging by today it would seem unlikely…but who knows.
The only thing we can guarantee is that we will get what we get given and cannot change the outcomes what ever the scientific predictions.

I think my eyes are ready for dull and gray days, after the blast of sun we’ve had for months now. Those trees are lovely!

That is what I thought but when reality struck today I think I would rather have the sun (with rain at night to keep everyone happy!) Best wishes

so David your good at trees – I have a Projected Image Competition coming up with the subject being trees – as you know we are not tripping over trees currently nor is it Autumn yet – any suggestions?

Backlight, low sun, low angle and make the most of the greens that are still about….but above all don’t search just go for a few walks in your local woods and see what strikes your imagination. Searching usually creates nothing. Not a lot of help but good hunting

No I think that is helpful I will look around my own doorstep – the Lochnabo area which I have posted is great in Autumn and of course with reflections so I will wait for calm day there has been plenty recently – cheers

Great image and interesting thought about the day never waking up. I will remember that next time we have a gray day.
