Winter Solstice …….

Mid Winter Sunset over the River Trent

A little bit of honesty here….this image is a couple of years old.  I have established a tradition over the years to always head out into the outdoors, good weather or bad, on the Winter Solstice.  That day wold also end perfectly if I could capture the sun going down to mark the end of the shortest day.

This year that isn’t going to be possible, duty calls elsewhere.  So being totally self indulgent I though a Solstice Sunset from the archive would be the next best thing.
