
Bright yellow Chrysanthemum heads have survived the weekends gales and rains, clustering together for protection

A lone Dahlia makes a defiant statement…. whilst possibly the last of the Rose blooms still look fresh as the first buds that burst…

Summer may well be fading but our garden flowers are not going without a last colourful flourish…..at least we have the autumnal charms of mist, shapes and colour to come.

Depending on the weather you can find late blooming flowers till mid December. Even till Christmas. I could do with the flowers as it’s grey, gloomy, wet drizzely stiff. It’s not cold, but a bit of wind and the drizzle make it cold. Inside a plate of carrot soup to warm up. Very autumnal. 😀
I love the Dahlia. The roses look like the ones I saw this morning in somebodys garden. Same colour. They really stand out.
