DAVID OAKES - IMAGES. 
I live in an appartment block. We are not allowed to hang out seed containers for birds. We also get gulls and crows then. Especially gullshave a way of dropping nasty surprises… I hope this little one will find sees and peanuts and seed balls and fat closeby.
What I love to see are the buds of the new leaves for next year. All ready and warmly packed away.

It is a shame that you cannot feed your birds….in winter they need all the help they can get.

Oh don’t worry. I have a bag of seeds in my coat pocket… Where ever I get off the bike near some trees and grass I will throw some of it there. There are 9 more song birds on our red list I heard last Sundaymorning in the EarlyBirds programm about our nature. So yes, I feed them. Not here, but where ever I am and when the bag’s still holding seeds. I do get new bags each time. :)) I may get myself some peanuts as well. Also in a brown paper bag. 🙂
