Thru the Mist and Rain…
Sunday…and we did wake up to the predicted fog that turned to heavy rain.
After Saturdays bright and sunny start as forecast the day turned wet. Overnight temperature fluctuated but by Sunday morning it was distinctly cold and getting colder.
The Lake that had started to thaw was once again starting to ice over….a very different and not so welcoming location..

What does the week ahead hold for us in our part of the world, a week where we will see the winter solstice pass as we move nearer to Christmas. Well the forecast for this week starts with rising temperatures, maybe up to 8c or 9c. An Atlantic high coming in from the south west so that must mean plenty of cloud cover and more than likely some rain. We will see.
(The sharp eyed amongst you will have spotted that at the moment I am a regularly a day behind the actual event….I hope soon to keep Blog post to the actual day…well I will try)

A day behind? You’re forgiven. I’m just blogging our road trip from September. Can’t rush these things. 🙂

Blimey, David. I thought I saw gulls flying over until I noticed they are snowflakes. 😀
You are forgiven of being a wee late. It’s not a major thing, is it? As long as you lot are healthy and happy. That’s the main thing, isn’t it?
Overhere we have 8º and sunshine. Although that lasten about an hour :D. Clouds are floating in again… It’s almost Mid Winter. From that day onwards the light will return. I heard that somebody already had a hyacinth in ful bloom in his garden. It’ll happen again.. the Miracle of Spring.
