Damp, Cold and Misty…
Yesterday started damp, dull and much colder than of late. I suggested it was misty but more likely low flying cloud. Nor did the day get any better….just got colder.
But as I have just been listening to both the national and local news reports I guess we had it better than most folk in the UK. As for the forecast ahead, well its going to be getting colder but sunshine forecast for today Thursday but winter weather by the New Year weekend.

I saw the snow drifts in our News yesterday. There wasn’t any of the stuff in Hunmanby, according to a lady there who was a good friend of my friend as well. Elderly lady now. So I decided to call her once a month. To see how she is. Sofar, she’s doing well. And happy that no snow has decided to fall and stay there. Good thing that it hasn’t become a situation like in Erie (Michigan, USA). Over 1 metre and 30 centimeters! In one day. With temperatures below 20º in the night. I count my blessings overhere with some sunshine and clouds and a cold breeze. Sniffing with tearful eyes (the cold) when I came home from shopping. 😀
As for the photo: Damp, Cold and Misty… and very, very beautiful. And I see snowflakes falling in my text? Amazing! It’s everywhere. Safe, warm flakes that won’t make the road slippery. My kind-a-snow. 😀

It’s colder here too, but only relatively. We had a nice week of T-shirt weather, but it’s back to sweatshirts now. Happy holidays!
