A Good Morning…

New Years Day….  my eyes struggled to opened and my body even more reluctant to get moving!.  Not surprising after a family party and a late night ‘seeing in’ this New Year 2018…I wonder just what lies in store for all of us.

I am told that the day started grey and damp but by the time we were up and about it had become a very good morning…..not sure that bright sunshine will see this first day of the year out.

New Year’s Resolution .. having enjoyed your wonderful photography for quite a while now I thought it was about time I used your reply page to say how very much I appreciate your pictures and comments. They are a constant source of delight and never fail to cheer, even on those dull and dismal days. Now my resolution has been made I intend to join all your other keen followers in commenting on your page.

    1. Thank you….. I know it is easy to say but I really do enjoy reading comments made on the blog. I can say I have made some great friends (all be it over the ether) and started many conversations on topics that have been totally unexpected which just adds to the fun…..and fun is what its all about for me.

  6. Lovely! The sun is shining…I spent mine on the North Yorkshire Moors (well, a party in a house there – not actually ‘on’ the moors. Woke up to heavy rain and a dreary day. Have a Great New Year David 🙂

  8. I wish you all a healthy and very happy 2018. Two beautiful photos again. A bleak landscape with green mountains that I finf irresistably beautiful and the trees with the long shadows. We’re heading into the first storm of this year. It’s probably been at your place already. :D.
