Running High and Wide…..

Trent-running-high

The River Trent at Willington, Derbyshire

Not yet in flood but recent rains and snow have had a marked effect on the River Trent as it flows through Derbyshire…..Sunset casts a warm glow over what is a rather cold late afternoon.

It has been dry today but more rain is forecast for the weekend

26th January

  1. Cloudy, windy and too warm for this time of the year. ‘They’ promise clearer weather and more sunshine next week and they start with: RAIN and more wind from the South West and West. Hurray! I decided to take the weather day by day. We really messed it up and sofar most people either don’t know or don’t give a ‘hoot’… (other word starts with D… not a very nice one). I think I won’t live long enough anymore to hear young people complain to my age group about the Global Warming and reuining the Planet. But I hope YOUNG people will stand up right now. Don’t take this moneyloving people who ruin our world any longer. Rise up!
