Cold but sunny and at the moment none of the winds that were promised. So a walk along the River Derwent and round the Darley Mills World Heritage site seemed a good idea.
Mind you the river is running high after the recent rains and there is more on the way. But it didn’t deter the Rowing Club from taking their morning exercise.
As for the scenery, well it was all Daffodils and long shadows all glistening in the winter sun. The quiet before the pending storms perhaps….
