A day you can only describe as scorching. The sun is stark, hot and casting dark shadows. The grass is going brown and vegetation thriving. Not so many people out ‘exercising’ today, nor did we linger over long.
But here are a few odds and ends we came across that added a little interest, colour and I hope give a little flavour to the day.

The Meteorological Office has just announced that May has been the hottest and sunniest since 18hundred and something……. also the driest, with still 2 day of the month left.
After several months when we had none stop rain and floods, the contrast is dramatic and sudden….. so we can but wonder what next is the weather cycle, a cycle that has a wonky wheel….. On thing for sure the current CV19 issue isn’t going to change as quickly as the weather ….so stay vigilant.
Please Remember ….
Stay Safe …. Be Kind…. Look After Each Other

Lovely photos David. It is nearly winter here and we have had a lot of rain and wind this past week. The weather seems to be more unpredictable than the past years. So true what you say about the virus!

Daft as it may seem after a winter of rains and floods we are now 8 weeks on heading for a drought…. and saying we need rain. It all seems so out of kilter where ever we live 🙂
