Hi Sue, Well I guess you will have visited Tarn Hows so know first hand just how gorgeous it really is. Just to share with the morning I got the above shot. It was one of those cold frosty but sunny mornings that so often happen at this time of the year. When we arrived and started to walk down to the Tarn side the sun started to lift the frost. There had also been a thin layer of ice on the water… not over all of the Tarns just the edge in the shade. It too vanished quickly…. but for those brief moments left that area smooth like a mirror. 🙂
