Hiding beneath a Weeping Willow, this now defunct traditional Red Phone Box has been pressed into service as a Canal side Garden feature.  What is they say “waste not want not”….

    1. Indeed….this one is purely ornamental. As these boxes come defunct ( we all have mobiles don’t we ) some communities have pressed them into local ‘Book Exchanges’ amongst other social uses.

      1. Yes, I know! We have the same red boxes in Norway. A couple in museums, but a very few in our streets (purely ornamental!)
        I’m not sure all young people around is familiar with it’s former usage?! 🙂
