Location:- The Sea Locks at Crinan, Argyll, North West Scotland.
The sea locks give access to the Crinan Canal from Loch Crinan on the Sound of Jura. The 9 mile long canal crosses the Kintyre Peninsula and saves many sea miles navigating round the rugged coast line. Once a vital link for both Fishing vessels and Clyde Puffers – the link between The Clyde and Glasgow with the outer Hebrides and the North West Coast.
