Gold is the colour for the Challenge…… and I have never seen gold so dominant as here in
The Catherine Palace, St. Petersburg
I suspect that it had just been subject to some restoration work, as the week following our visit it was to host an International World Leaders Conference
All I can add is that it was overpowering in its brightness

I am very grateful for having had the experience….. we enjoyed all the highlights of St. Petersburg and whilst we did see a great deal we must have missed a lot. Always wanted to make a return trip but like you not sure that will ever happen. 🙂
