The Cuillins across Loch Scavaig, Isle of Skye, Scotland
I have enjoyed many a Highland day sheltering from heavy rains and clouds that descended to touch the Loch’s. Then just as one gives up hope towards the end of the day there is a break in the weather. The cloud lifts, the rain stops, the Loch becomes calm and just a little low late evening sun, all be it rather watery, finally breaks through. For a brief moment just a little light to end the day…..Makes it all worthwhile.

Crystal clear deep water and very low sun. Where the sun didn’t reach its nearly jet black
