Kenmore, Perthshire
Where the River Tay flows out of Loch Tay, can be found the village of Kenmore. It is a small village where perhaps the Kenmore Hotel appears bigger than the village itself.
I captioned the post ‘Placid Perthshire’. Of all the Scottish Regions I have found Perthshire, whilst having many wild and rugged ‘highland’ areas, still retains a distinctively peaceful ambience. with wide valleys and rich agricultural land….. a Scottish character all of its own.
On a summers day, as above that ambience is one of peace.
The River Tay, often referred to as the ‘Silvery Tay’ is one of Scotland’s Premier Salmon Rivers and also Scotland’s longest. The Tay’s journey continues down the county to Aberfeldy, Dunkeld, the City of Perth, then on into the Firth of Tay and on to the North Sea at Dundee.
Have a peaceful weekend if you can…. but

So tranquil and serene. Makes me feel that way just looking at your photo. And it would be a lovely one to hang on a wall.
