An Early Spring Morning….

Fradley Junction, Staffordshire

The first narrowboat of the morning, breaking the mirror calm waters of the cut, gets an early start on this April morning last year.  Whilst there are many who do ‘live aboard’ all year, it is now that Easter approaches that the busy boating season starts.

This is Fradley Junction. Narrowboat Wigston is joining the Trent Mersey Canal from the Coventry Canal.

A peaceful moment on the start of a journey north through Staffordshire.
