Power to the People…

Power for the people, electricity, brought courtesy of a National Grid. Maybe even in 2022 even that could possibly be in doubt.

Power to the People has been a rallying call over many centuries in many parts of our World. These were times of anguish, bigotry of class, gender, race, religion. From that turmoil a systems of Government was formed that many countries now know as Democracy.

Sadly in many countries People Power are questioning our democratic governance. It is a rising mood, manifesting itself in many different ways… often trying to pursue democratic routes, but also in some, more militant ways have been adopted.

It is a route brought on by desperation, a route that seems be turbulent, even stormy in some countries. It is deeply unsettling.

Now in 2022, one does wonder, if the progress that was so hard won…. is now very much at risk .

With a degree of despair and with a small degree of hope, lets all ….
