A rather Mediterranean like scene. On the Shore of Loch Crinan, Argyll and Bute on the Northwest Coast of Scotland.
This is the small community of Crinan and northwestern start/end of the Crinan Canal. Tranquil and very peaceful today …. but in days gone by a hive of activity. Steam Cargo Boats (known as Clyde Puffers) and Fishing Boats were using this ‘man made’ and valuable time saving and safe route, from Glasgow via Loch Fyne and Gilp, to the Scottish Islands and Coastal Communities as well as providing easy access to Scottish Fishing waters.
Enjoy your weekend and as always….

Seems unlikely….but on that part of Argyll coast from Oban down we have enjoyed more good weather than bad. It does seem to have its own micro climate
