Sunday 20th November….. Traditionally “Stir Up Sunday”
It is the suggested time for all family cooks to head to the kitchen and start making the Christmas Puddings & Cakes. Tradition also dictates that the family should be summoned to ‘stir’ the mixture and make a wish.
It may be tradition…. but both my late Mum and Mother-in-Law would say it was a task that should have been tackled weeks ago. The best Christmas Puddings need time to mature.
Old school or more modern in your outlook, just a reminder that Christmas is on the way….. it will be here before you know it 🙂
No matter if your thoughts drift towards Christmas this Sunday morning…..or perhaps the festive season fills you with dread…… as always…
Please Remember ….
Stay Safe …. Be Kind…. Look After Each Other

As your cooks get ready for Christmas, ours (including me even though I’m not that fantastic of a cook) are getting ready for our American Thanksgiving. I’ll be in the kitchen, if you want to find me. 😉
