Back to the Future – or – Turn Back the Clock

The Pony and Trap, Horse and Cart…. maybe they are the best solution to our current issues on our Transport System.  Right now, we have been experiencing the effects of Railway Workers Strikes. Intransient position on behalf of Unions, Employer and Government resulted in ‘stand-off’.

But if we look at our rail system it has been badly run in so many parts of the country, 

Strikes have caused much inconvenience for travellers, but for years Train operators have failed to deliver the promised services.  In some areas it is a ‘daily lottery’ if scheduled trains will run at all, let alone to the published timetable.

So may be at a last resort… the Pony and Trap may be the answer.
