A wintery mix of Frost and Sunshine again this morning. -5c again. But we are told that this mini cold spell will soon be over. Signs are there in the sky, no longer crisp clear blue, but traces of wispy clouds. There is also more mist lingering in the Derwent Valley all adding to the feel of another great December day.
Of course, the Lake is frozen. No doubt the Ducks will welcome a bit of a thaw… as it is they are making the most of a small shallow area which remains clear.
It may have been a perfect day for a brisk walk, quite warm once you got going…. but far too cold to sit and ponder.
We might manage one more sunny morning… but that is a chance. After that we head back to cloud and may be rain, whilst the chance of a White Christmas fade away.
Weather… well we get what we get given. So best to go with the flow…. bust as always…
Please Remember ….
