A Winter Walk…..

Yew Tree Farm, Yewdale, nr Coniston, Cumbria

A landmark on one of our winter walks.  The iconic Yew Tree Farm with its distinctive Hay Loft and Barn, always remembered and recalled by the many Lakeland walkers who pass this way.  It has to be admitted, that in summer it is very much busier….  many will pass through that gate and enjoy a cream tea with scones in the garden….. maybe even some Cumbrian  Gingerbread

A simple part of Lakeland that never seems to change – whatever the season.

Outdoors or safe inside this weekend…… no matter which….
