A slightly unkind thought but I couldn’t resist…..
” Should I tell her , that it is not the Bus Stop ”
and can you spot todays essential travelling necessity – a Coffee Cup.
Travelling or heading for home this Friday, looking forward to a weekend relaxing….. as always….

I have never, yet, walked around with a coffee cup in hand, and hope to avoid ever doing so!

I agree. I can understand Office workers , etc heading into work grabbing a coffee to take in with them. But as for this occupation now for the need of a coffee when out for a walk…. Im just dont see it. When Lockdown was lifted it became the norm for people to walk with a cup in hand…. we used to laugh as there was a style of walking that evolved. Phone in left hand out not quite straight. coffee cup in right hand, elbow out and fore arm bent inwards. Comical to see a line of people, usually in pairs walking along oblivious of others or surroundings. Thankfully normality is very slowly returning (I think) 🙂

I think the definition of normal has changed considerably in the past few years!

Tee-hee! Maybe a bit disrespectful, but still funny. As per the coffee cup, most of my fellow countrymen don’t seem to be able to function without one in hand. (Except me.)

The coffee cup phenomena has been around for a while… I can understand commuters heading into the office, grabbing a cup. But when we were released, to a sort of freedom, after covid lockdowns, the coffee cup seemed to become the required for being outdoors.
