Hardwick Hall, Derbyshire
For several weeks now our Meteorological Office has been telling us that today Thursday 10th August, would be both sunny and hot! So it was an opportunity not to be wasted…. after all we have had very little ‘summer’ this year.
So we headed off to Hardwick Hall. Built in the 1590’s, It was the last home of Elizabeth Hardwick, best know as Bess of Hardwick.
Inside is a treasure trove of Elizabethan style and decor. But I will bring you more of Hardwick and its treasures in future post.
Meantime, I am still getting over the shock of 29c and wall to wall sunshine. As for tomorrow…. its back to normal…. so as always….
Please Remember ….
Stay Safe …. Be Kind…. Look After Each Other

Looking forward to those treasures! While you experience a little summer, we seem to be having a taste of fall.
