
The flood plain doing what flood plains do….. but despite this absorption of flood waters, less than half a mile away, the City Centre and many homes are under water. More rain to come

Indeed yes, possessions easy to replace, but it’s going to take sometime to dry out. But safe yes.

The Erewash came almost to our door today. Thankfully we were spared the horrors that so many had to endure!

A big sigh of relief. We hope to be able to access the damage at our Gret Grand kids home by the Derwent. They were told to move out on Friday and looking at the pictures it was a good job they did. No not a nice experience, always a worry
