I am not a fan of Halloween….. but some ways of marking the ‘event’ can be eye appealing .
Out celebrating or staying safely at home…. as always…

I am tempted to say…its an age thing. But I have never seen the point of it all.

Yet another import from USA, all in the cause of selling lots of unhealthy sweet things and dress up costumes! OK maybe it is an age thing!

Agreed. Halloween used to be just a simple trick or treat night with some lit up jack o’lanterns. Now it’s morphed into a mega commercialized event. I just can’t understand why people here put all kinds of outrageous decorations outside of their homes for it. People not far from us have a gigantic (must be at least 12 feet tall) skeleton with lit up red eyes in their yard. Stupid things cost over 200 U.S. dollars. Why??
