It is a Slow Start to Spring

_DSC7105_00002qqqq

The weather continues to frustrate us, still mainly wet…. but the very occasional brief helping of sunshine gives us hope for spring.  The Catkins on our Twisted Hazel have been hanging around for most of the year, through thick and thin, and now starting to loosen their seeds and fade,,,,,  They will soon be gone.  As for Springs arrival, at least we can fool ourselves that its arrival is imminent, by cheating with some cultivated colourful flowers of Spring ….both indoors and out.

I know we cannot hurry the seasons along….  but I do wish Spring would change gear and get a move on   🙂

Irrespective of the weather, enjoy and as always….

  1. Well, the inside blooms are very nice and way better than nothing! Our spring flowers outside are just starting to bloom and now along came cold weather once more and today even a few snow flurries. Blah.
