A chance discovery this week. Early morning, a low winter sun with long deep shadows… and a very cold dawn.
I discovered the Churchyard of St. Bartholomew Church, Elvaston and its centuries old graveyard…. and the big surprise were the large areas of Snowdrops….

A winter surprise…. and despite a bright sun, the morning never seemed to wake up…

Keep warm this Winter…. Spring cannot be far away…
Till then always….

Interestingly – I saw my first snowdrops of the year today after out last conversation – a beautifully sunny day still cold but a big snowdrop smile.
